Brothers are Excited to Launch Beta Product
Two North-East brothers, commonly known as “The King Brothers”, have launched their online operation this month. Their web-based software 1DayLater has been released into Free Beta, a term software companies use when they are still adding features or fixing minor bugs.
Partnered by Teesside Digital City, Codeworks, Sunderland Software City & Newcastle's Culture lab, their service provides a simple way for anyone to keep track of their time, money and business miles. The benefit is that users can be confident to bill each client correctly, improve their productivity and get a true understanding of their working habits.
In line with their launch the brothers are encouraging local companies to sign up and give much valued feedback. They are keen to take on a wide range of testers who can advise them on areas such as usability, preference of features and layout.
Paul King, Director of 1DayLater admits that for most companies the virtuous circle of product development is most intense in the early stages.
“We're constantly refining our ideas and implementing new features in the order that mirrors our customers needs”.
“It seems there's never been a better time to launch a service like ours, the North East is really putting itself on the world stage in terms of software and innovation. We credit much of our growth to the great support available in the region.”
